Help for Carers

If you care for a family member, friend, or neighbour who cannot manage without your support, you may be a carer. Please let us know so we can offer you appropriate support and help protect your health and wellbeing. We understand some patients are concerned that declaring they are a carer may affect their benefits; however, registering as a carer with the GP practice does NOT affect your benefits, housing, or immigration status. This information is kept confidential and is only used to help us provide you with the right care. You can tell us at reception, during an appointment, or when registering with the practice.
